The 8th studio album from Deep Purple and the 1st with the band for David Coverdale.

I must admit, it’s only in the last 7 years or so that I’ve really taken the time to listen to them properly. Like most people, I’d heard Smoke on the Water, but not much else.

This was the first album I sat down with, after being introduced to it by my father-in-law, and it’s one I keep coming back to. A solid record with some great tracks throughout.
