Been checking in with Camus‘ The Myth of Sisyphus this week cause, well, life. It’s not the easiest of reads. But he’s cookin! He’s like “yeah life is basically pushing a rock up a hill forever,” and he wasn’t even living in this stage of capitalism. Instead of letting that rock crush your soul, the revolt is to “imagine Sisyphus happy.” It’s not a suck-it-up sentiment. It’s more like you gotta create your life in the face of a hellscape.
