I often go about my to do list and tasks for the day as if achieving all of those things will bring me peace.

But the reality is Christ is our peace, regardless of our circumstances, because of who He is and what He has done for us.

Because of His peace I can work to complete all He lays before me each day without a sense of hurry and stress but instead out of a worshipful heart.

When I walk through my day with that heart of peace and worship, I can let go of what I think are the most important tasks and accept when God gives a change of assignment for the day.

Because ultimately, my life is about bringing Him glory and that is where true satisfaction is found.
