There is something so magical about a meal whose leftovers become so many other meals. Today’s lunch: a roast chicken.
Carved it and simmered the carcass with a bunch of veggies and water for the rest of the day.
Turned the veggies, the meat that fell off the bone, and some broth into puree for my 8-month old.
Added salt to the rest of the broth and stored it to use in mini chicken pot pies tomorrow and in alphabet noodle soup later in the week. That’s one (7€) ingredient turned into FOUR different meals! 🪄kitchen magic 🪄
