It’s one thing to try and fail or choose a different path in front of a smaller audience. To do it under an enormous, unrelenting spotlight takes bravery that I’m not sure many of us can honestly say we have if we were in Meghan’s position. There’s a certain joy—freedom—in saying mistakes and failures are a human experience that you are going to have very publicly, and the online reaction won’t dictate your future moves or feelings about a project.
