I'm an avid reader of many writers on Substack but am I the only one that finds the model really frustrating? I absolutely believe creators should be paid for their work but I simply can't afford to subscribe to more than a few. I keep reading brilliant posts, only to hit the paywall and feel dismayed again. Anyone found ways of coping without going bankrupt? For example, I wish Substack had a ‘magazine’ subscription where I could pick my top ten and pay a reasonable sum for the package. Any other ideas?
