i DON’T KNOW WHERE THIS CAME FROM, BUT i HAD SAVED IT ON MY DASHBOARD: I pretty much think that Manifest Destiny is now pointed in the direction of stuff--we all have a right, no, it's our destiny to acquire big screen tvs, flashy pickup trucks, expensive coffee makers and more.it makes Americans feel like they are part of something much bigger than themselves even if they actually have diddly squat and are sinking ever deeper in debt. So Trumps insane narratives of America being better than ever despite our lying eyes, really resonates.
