Just a reminder: If a "potential" client doesn't pick you, it doesn't mean you've done anything wrong, you weren't good enough, or you don't have value. It simply means they made a choice - just like you do, every day.

You might have worked on a proposal for weeks or prospected a client for years, and they still went another way. There are lots of reasons why: Don't accept the "worst" possible explanation that somehow you weren't good enough; there's probably more to the story.

Sometimes, you can do everything right, and still not win. That's not a problem. That's life.

The good news is that one client won't make or break your career, or your life. One setback is no more dangerous than one moment of turbulence on your flight. You're designed for it. You swiftly pass through it. And within moments, you're back on your journey with the sun in your sights and the wind at your back.
