My exhibition at The Susquehanna Art Museum opens in one week, on April 10.
The exhibition features a selection of 26 works made over the past 12 years. Many of the works have never been exhibited, others have only been exhibited on rare occasions.
In this group of work, the relationship between nature and development is depicted time and time again. Found dispersed within the paintings and drawings, flora and fauna coexist among a myriad of structures and turned earth, in varying climatic conditions. Ephemeral beauty of the wider world is revealed from the vantage point of the southeast Pennsylvania landscape.
