Thinking about Palm Sunday and what was happening in it. Jesus doesn’t ride into Jerusalem as a publicity stunt but as a statement of his mission. As soon as he gets off that donkey, he does hard things and states hard truths. He cleanses the temple. He confronts the scribes and Pharisees with their hypocrisy. He tells of his second coming and he warns of the coming judgment. It’s less a celebration than the beginning of a crisis that had no resolution other than the cross.

Is The GOP Now Promoting the Business of Tracking Women?

I am no fan of state policy that turns in woman for getting an abortion...

But in a democracy it begs the question. Why do the majority of woman in Texas support such legislation?

Is Hartman framing this issue in a manner that enables the reader to understand why so many woman support this policy and would it not be better if we had these issues framed in a way that opened the door for compromise?
