Meanwhile, Israel’s public broadcaster Kan (“here” in Hebrew) has reported last night that according to (unnamed) cabinet ministers, Netanyahu has made it clear that he wants full occupation of all of the Gaza strip.
Finance Minister Smotrich (a FANATIC messianic Jewish supremacist) holds the most extreme view according to these sources and is calling for immediate occupation of all of Gaza City, even if there are Israeli hostages located there who may get hurt during the operation.
The same ministers also (supposedly) told Kan’s political correspondent that the IDF’s Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir has said that if this plan goes ahead, he will tender his resignation.
