You have paying subscribers in Australia who have been unable to access the content for WEEKS now due to Substack’s “age verification” mandate through Persona.
What do you plan to DO about it?
I know of at least one PAID subscriber of yours who has been completely locked out of her account for weeks now and as a result, can’t even cancel the paid subscription on her end, with Substack support providing no remedy.
She told me she attempted to contact you by email several times so that you can cancel the subscription on your end but to no avail.
ACT IMMEDIATELLY. Do NOT ignore this!
If you don’t act, my next next step will be to advise all these people to initiate formal chargeback proceedings which will result in you incurring a $15 fee from Stripe for each such instance and if many people in Australia are in the same predicament and make the same move (due to no remedy from your end), you WILL lose your Stripe account entirely.
Your PROMPT attention to this matter is expected….and demanded!
