Handy explainer of the different protocols although I personally wouldn't waste my time at all with BlueSky. It may have a future as yet another platform but not as a protocol used outside its current walled garden.
Nostr & ActivityPub (a.k.a. “the Fediverse”) are the only two worth considering imho and although the two protocols (NOT platforms) do share the same ethos, the technical implementation and the requirements to participate are quite different.
If you have a ghost-powered website, ActivityPub is built in. If you have a (self-hosted) WordPress website, you can onboard on to the Fediverse by installing the official ActivityPub plug-in.
