Make money doing the work you believe in

You may have already known this but for me it clicked just now:

Marc Andreessen & his VC giant a16z are not just the “money bags” behind this platform but they also played a major part in SpaceX going public.

“Egghead” and his “fellow travellers” played a MAJOR part in the creation of xAI, the AI venture of the world’s first public trillionaire (and self proclaimed “free speech absolutist”).

xAI absorbed Twitter/X into it only to be later absorbed itself into the octupus that is now the publicly listed SpaceX. A transaction which a16z ALSO played a big part in…and made a HUGE profit from on IPO day.

And now, they are all patting each other on back publicly for all us ‘peasants’ to see as they count their profits.

The funny thing about that very slick Musk adoration clip a16z have released is that SpaceX are FIRST & FOREMOST an AI business now. Rockets and trips to Mars are just a ‘side hustle’…

On CNBC's Squawk Pod, David George, a partner at venture capital giant Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), said Elon Musk's space and AI businesses have largely solved their toughest technical challenges and are now focused on scaling.

"When we first invested in SpaceX, Starlink was in its very earliest moment. They had just gotten satellites into space. But at that moment, we could see that it felt like all of the physics problems were solved in launching satellites to space and then providing the service down to Earth as a telco service," George said.

a16z first bought SpaceX in early 2021.
