The message should be very simple:

The Internet can NEVER be a safe place for your personal information (no matter what!!) and you should be TERRIFIED of having any of yours there, even if it means sacrificing convenience or access to certain services.
A digital ID means that ALL of your personal information will be on the Internet…FOREVER!

The end goal is to have everyday people feel exactly the same about having their 'personal information packaged up into a digital ID as most of us feel about taking anything in arm ever again!

Crude? Maybe. Effective? ABSOLUTELY!
