Make money doing the work you believe in

Long-time followers will know I'm a fan of "elegant decay," the idea that beauty can be found in things that are old, weathered, and long past their prime. 

You know, like me. 

Sometimes elegant decay is found in old buildings with faded paint peeling away like bark from a tree.

Or weathered shingles covered with moss.

Or abandoned trucks riddled with rust forlornly waiting for an owner's return. 

Or in this case, a very weathered mailbox and fence standing watch over a house I found while walking one morning in Seattle.
