It’s funny how the Wokies in all their performative rage forget that America itself was also a colony, and that the pilgrims were what we’d call ‘poor whites’ who were fleeing religious persecution in England. Also, white indentured servants were bought, sold, raped and beaten. Slaves could not vote and had no power…but neither did poor whites, indentured servants or women. You had to be a white, property-owning male.
