Apple Acquires Audio AI Startup q.ai in Deal Valued at ~$1.6B

Apple has acquired q.ai, an Israeli artificial intelligence startup focused on advanced audio technologies, in a transaction valued at approximately 1.6 billion dollars, according to sources cited by Reuters. Financial terms were not officially disclosed. The acquisition adds around 100 employees to Apple, including CEO Aviad Maizels and co founders Yonatan Wexler and Avi Barliya.
