Attending (virtually) Dr. Cassandra Quave’s recent Roots of Beauty workshop on the traditional medicinal plants of Ginestra, Italy left me deeply inspired. This evening I harvested linden blossoms and the first St. John's Wort of the season on our property. Our "Erba di San Giovanni" blooms a little later here in Upper Michigan.
