I thought the Boost program was going to help the best writing be seen by more people. I have not found that to be the case at all. My earnings are down significantly, and the stuff that shows up in my feed is largely of no interest to me. In order to find my favorite writers, I have to manually type their names into the search bar. If you do not fit into certain niches, you are much less likely to be Boosted. The types of things I like to read also seem not to be Boosted. I have to go looking for them. I think the Boost might work well for a certain segment of people who like certain topics. If you came to Medium to look for good, thoughtful, original writing, you can kind of forget it. It's so hard to find that now.
