Hi, I’m Michelle.

This is my second go at Substack. The first time around, I was writing without really understanding how this place works, or who it’s actually built for. A journey, as they say.

The longer I stuck around, the clearer it became that this is a home for people who think in paragraphs, not posts. This was reassuring, because I am not especially visual and I have zero interest in performing for attention. I will never dance to get a message across.

In an earlier chapter of my life, I made a living as a writer. That eventually gave way to consulting, where I learned to speak fluent corporate and temporarily sidelined my own voice.

I’m back here now with more clarity about the medium, the community, and how I want to contribute. Writing again feels less like a return and more like a resumption. Don’t call it a comeback.
