New poem.

I originally ran with the incredibly pompous title of ‘The Banality of Living’, which is still the theme. How strangely unremarkable life can feel, despite us all knowing the odds against it.

The hope was also to capture something of that universal childhood experience of being talked down to by one’s elders at a family gathering.
