Everyone knows that question, "If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?"

I was thinking about that this morning while drinking my coffee. Black, with a teaspoon of honey, in case you were wondering.

And I think I finally have an answer...

For me it'd be Anthony Bourdain.

Before I got into ghostwriting I was a restaurant marketer. And before that, I was a food blogger.

Bourdain was equal parts chef, food lover, and storyteller. I'm a little bit of all three myself. Not actually a chef, but I do cook a pretty solid asado.

The cool thing about Bourdain is that he understood food was never just about food. It was about the story behind it. The people. The place. The culture.

That's why I think we might have a good conversation.

I'm not really one to fanboy over anyone, but today, that's my answer.
