Stop pre-rejecting yourself on other people's behalf.
A coach in our training program told me he met a PRO athlete on a ski lift.
They got to talking, and the conversation went deep. The athlete asked about working together, but the coach changed the subject. Later, he told me why:
"The guy makes $30 million a year. What do I have to offer him?"
He had the chance to coach a pro athlete, but he wrote the guy's rejection letter for him.
This is what pre-rejection looks like. You don't get told “no”. You reject yourself before anyone else has the chance.
The hard truth: you will not make meaningful progress until you risk real rejection.
