I 've been telling people these things take time...and once they get to critical mass all hell breaks loose. "A case of the hope." I love it. With a mid term so close many Republicans are crazy to oppose popular measures. Those negative campaign commercials aren't going to be pretty. The guy who came out against gay marriage...and then happily goes to his son's wedding...he looses on both sides. That's just plain stupid. Even Dick Cheney understood that one.
Yeah, that one was a head scratcher. Do they think we’re too dumb to notice the screaming hypocrisy?
How would you feel if you're the son and new son in law? Great way to start a new marriage in your family. The disconnect from political action to your personal reality is crazy...but then, many have done it...Lot's of elected folks have been gay and kept it secret. I'm just glad we're getting past that...and then there's Judge Thomas who wants to roll back every acquired freedom except inter-racial marriage. I mean the man finally speaks up after what 15 years on the bench and he's the worst kind of bigot.
