In 2022, the electric utility monopoly in RI dinged my small restaurant with a $19,000 bill for a mistake that was 100% theirs. The state facilitated the collection and three years later, I still haven’t recovered from the financial blow.

I’m fighting this in the statehouse. It’s uphill, but I’ve spent years pressing the powers that be and documenting their unwillingness to correct this for everyone by tightening regulations.
