If this is overwhelming - because severe brain fog and deep pit of despair and all that… 💭

The biggest changes to manage PMDD for me personally have been (with bold most effective!)

  • Lamotrigine mood stabiliser (Psych prescribed)

  • Vitamin B6 and Magnesium Glycinate (over the counter at pharmacy)

  • Nature and nervous system regulation tools

  • Support with child minding / stress management or TV use and car naps

Second to that:

  • Therapy (telehealth and free)

  • Protected Time alone

  • Noise cancellation headphones and music/podcasts

  • In the past pre kids - some contraceptive pills helped with ovulation suppression

Sending lots of love to anyone being personally victimised by their own biology in luteal phase 🫶🏾

You have. got. this. 👏🏾
