Democrats aren’t worried about the war crimes. They want the war crimes done competently. By their folly and arrogance, the Trump regime interfered with the imperatives of empire, and one of the core principles of the one-party consensus was broken: the duty to inflict massive violence at will, and to do so with your mouth shut.

If you think what happened to Rumeysa Ozturk can't happen to you because you're a citizen and she's not, you are sorely mistaken. Ozturk was snatched off the street not for being a national security threat but for having a wrong opinion. If we don't put a stop to this, it's coming for all of us.

I was asked to share three fun facts about myself as part of my bio for the startup incubator where I mentor.
It occurred to me that I should also share those with you here.

Here are mine:
1. Besides being a die-hard Winnipeg Jets fan since 1972, I've also been a professional wrestling fan since I was 5 years old. (Don't judge me.)
2. The Clash is my favourite band of all time, and yes, they were better than The Beatles.
3. I am told I am an amazing cook.
Bonus fact: I was a hobby filmmaker in the pre-digital age. My short 13-minute film, "The Popcorn Incident," played for a weekend at the Cinematheque in Winnipeg.
