My husband is using his tax return to buy me a laptop so I can write again. I once wrote short stories. I won an award or two, and my stories were in a few anthologies. No big deal, trust me.

Then really bad shit happened, and I stopped writing.

Lately, I have a story hammering inside my head. The characters want out. It's the first time in years I have had that experience.

I write dark stories. You may have a hard time believing it because I write silly stuff here.

My first published story was about a golem who killed people who abused prostitutes.

My husband read it, and since he knew me as goofy, he was confused. Then he read my other stories and sprinkled me with holy water. 🙂

Anyway, I just searched closets and found my writing tips diary. I can't wait to start writing again!

Something inside me is growing towards the sun, almost blossoming.
