one of my big priorities for the day after the funding rejection was to be back on the horse with PhD work as early as I could. sure I could take a while to lick my wounds, but I’ve already given five months of my life that I won’t get back to this application.

I’m grateful to have my Kalamazoo panel tomorrow to give me something to focus on. I’ve spent the day editing down my introduction and making slides. I also ate a donut (not pictured).
