The Cycle We Get Stuck In
Most shadow work begins the same way.
We notice something or someone and it triggers something inside us.
Someone confident. Someone successful. Someone deeply loved—someone who speaks their mind.
Then something uncomfortable shows up. Jealosy or even envy.
That feeling quickly leads to comparison. Comparison becomes criticism. Criticism becomes SHAME.
And shame convinces us we’re simply “not good enough.”
I wish we could interrupt the cycle earlier. Instead of asking:
“Why don't I have that?”
Ask:
“What stirred or woke up inside me when I saw them?”
And let the transformation begin!
