I want politics to be about a better everyday life.

Here's what that can look like:

Don't leave anything for later.

Later, the coffee gets cold.

Later, you lose interest.

Later, the day turns into night.

Later, people grow up.

Later, people grow old.

Later, life goes by.

Later, you regret not doing something... when you had the chance.

I’m going to say something that shouldn’t be controversial but will be. If you are a Christian, you can support border control and immigration being legal vs illegal. You CANNOT celebrate deportations and get off on the cruelty, and be a real Christ follower. Period

Bill Owens is a journalist, who has worked at “60 Minutes,” the finest and most venerable journalistic program in the United States, for 24 years, and for the last six as its executive producer.

He has been forced out of “60 Minutes” by the insatiable greed of Shari Redstone, who has demanded that Bill Owens bend the knee to Donald Trump.

Bill Owens did not bend the knee.

Bill Owens took a stand.

Thank you, Bill Owens.

We live in a time that people are more inclined to obey an unlawful executive order than they are to follow a court order 🤦🏾‍♀️.

Dictators are created due to cruelty, cowardice, & compliance! IF THEIR ASSES will ignore the Supreme Court, we can definitely IGNORE HIM!

You can’t say criminals don’t deserve due process when due process is the thing that decides if they're criminals. Otherwise you're just kidnapping people you don't like.

Of course advance information on US combat operations is classified. Pretending otherwise is an insult to our troops, who all know this.

I mean if the federal government really wants to arrest a judge for cause, how about starting with Clarence Thomas?

The wildfires were not caused due to incompetence, but rather “on purpose malice” posing as incompetence, and they are likely being started with DARPA directed energy weapons (a certain shade of blue is a shield) and Antifa posing as firemen, just as in 2020:

I hate to like this comment but there’s truths in these assertions that can’t be ignored. So like it is.They really do hate us enough to create internal warscapes to take us down.

While a reasonable question exists concerning DEW in Hawaii with nothing blue turning to cinders, I think this was plain old do-gooder incompetence, the annual wind fest, and undoubtedly fire bug arsonists of the mentally ill and criminal persuasions.

It is remarkable that we are seeing total destruction of the wealthiest and most scenic places in the country.

We ARE seeing it. Try driving I-40 from Knoxville to Asheville.

If there is ANYTHING positive going on in the world besides the re-election of DJT, it's the fact that Hollywood has run out of ideas and its fabulously wealthy pedophiles and gays will soon be as popular as hand-held transistor radios and Fatty Arbuckle.

the blame-e's avatar

Hand-held transistor radios served their purpose, and quite well, for a time. I got one for Christmas when I was 10-years-old in 1963, and it was a big deal. I look back warmly and fondly at transistor radios. Not so much Fatty Arbuckle. Fatty Arbuckle is like all celebrities: American crap.

I just got through re-watching the 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice. I was stunned with horror at Keira Knightly's teeth. What choppers. Those were maneater teeth. And I had to ask: "What was that all abo…

Keira Knightly is pure perfection.

the blame-e's avatar

Is that before or after she got her teeth fixed? She did BTW. It did not improve her appearance. That was what broke my heart. Not her man-eating choppers that seemed to hurt her face whenever she smiled broadly., and made me want to shove a McDonalds "Happy Meal" at her. Just one last thing. The 2005 version of "Pride and Prejudice" is my favorite. My preferring it to the other versions is not diminished at all by Keira Knightly. She is a perfectly adequate period actress.

had to laugh at this. Not sure about the timing of her dental cosmetics.
