Whose “solution” is that?

Trump ran in 2020, and the Democrats defeated him. The Democrats voted to impeach him, too—after he provably broke laws. The Republicans didn’t. The Republicans are still a political force. And the Republicans are about to nominate him for president so that he can lose again. He is extremely unpopular and won’t win (but yes, he can win; lots of things can happen). That’s their loss when they nominate him.
