Thanks for the tag!! The way I’m agonizing over this because picking is SO HARD 😭 My top three movies:
Jurassic Park (1993). Undoubtedly been a fav for over a decade. I have the most vocal stims/quotes from it 🦖
Pacific Rim (2013). Giant monsters, giant mechs, and processing trauma?!? I need to rewatch it.
Van Helsing (2004). Not enough people know this one!!! It’s gothic action-horror, like The Mummy but victorian supernatural. It has Faramir, and Hugh Jackman in a wig!!!
The last two are not only frequent rewatches, but have both been influential to building and writing in Ekhyspo. The Drift inspired aspects of a ritual in the Venatrii Order. Van Helsing, in general, inspired a story that has now split in two: my vampire romance manuscript and a cosmic horror.
