According to the ONS (link below), UK GDP expanded by 0.1% in the fourth quarter, the same as in the third quarter. Per capita GDP fell by 0.1%.

The growth rate for 2025 as a whole was 1.4%, with lots of it occurring early in the year.

All this is to confirm that the UK economy is having to deal with the adverse economic effects of the Middle East War from a position of growth fragility.
