For a little while, I stepped away.
Not because the words disappeared…
but because life got loud and draining.
There are seasons when the bravest thing you can do isn’t to keep pushing forward.
It’s to pause. To breathe. To listen to your own heart knocking gently from the inside saying,
Hey… don’t forget about me.
The last month has been one of those seasons for me. Life has been lifing. And sometimes when life is a lot, the most loving choice you can make is to choose yourself. To rest. To regroup. To refill the well.
So I did.
No big announcement. No dramatic exit. Just a quiet moment of honoring what I needed and practicing what I preach.
Because here’s something I’m learning again and again:
Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish. It’s loving yourself when you need it most. It’s choosing courage for what you need. And It’s choosing yourself one deep breath at a time.
And now… slowly, gently, I’m finding my way back to the page.
If you’ve been feeling stretched thin, tired, or simply in need of a pause… consider this your reminder that it’s okay to step back. Your worth is not measured by how constantly you show up for everyone else.
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is whisper to yourself:
Today, I choose me.
I’m grateful you’re here.
More words soon. 💛🧡
