He disgraced his profession by causing concerned citizens to lose trust in public health agencies and officials - he brought shame to the field of virology research through his greed, dissembling, and outright dishonesty - and he destroyed the reputation of the Center for Disease Control through his series of lies and misleading proclamations. This corrupt fraud ought to be stripped of his medical license at the very least and have his tattered reputation serve as a warning to others going forward.
