We talk endlessly about the prepared environment for children, and we almost never talk about the prepared environment for adults.

There is no Montessori album for the operational work, no Montessori training in board governance, no formal curriculum for how a head of school should sequence the year, structure decision-making, hold accountability, build retention.

We have left that work to be invented and reinvented in every school, by every leader, every year, and it does not have to stay that way.
