“School” should be all (work) day. From birth to 18, but not mandatory at any age (i.e. any ratio of homeschooling = okay)

Traditional “teaching” limited to fewer hours. Mixed age group classes, organize learning by skill level instead.

Have fewer education-focused “teachers” and more everything else (lots of these people will be essentially daycare employees, which is good)

3+ hours of recess, with sports, socialization, video games, crazy american warrior style playground obstacle courses. Adjacent woods. Maximally fun.

All local sports, clubs, held at school, so no extra travel. Strength training classes.

Cell phones, tablets = banned, leave them at home.

All maintenance jobs at school performed by (age appropriate) kids.

Have a class that’s a business. Kids bake cookies for bake sales, shovel snow, do concerts at nursing homes, design computer games - whatever.

Full busing, staggered around pick up/drop off time rather than age. Some kids will arrive early, go home late, others late, go home early.
