This is my family’s favorite pie recipe! An apricot glaze makes this traditional apple pie a fun and unique treat.
Ingredients:
Pie crust
7 large apples
½ c water
½ c + 1 tbsp sugar
5 tbsp butter
1 tbsp lemon juice
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp salt
2 small apples
¼ c apricot jam
1 tbsp hot water
Notes:
Drain the apples after boiling. I forgot to mention this in the video!
400 F for 35 minutes.
