I make it a point to send my husband updates about our son throughout the day while he is at work.

Pictures, what we’re doing, funny little things he played with or talked about… that way when my husband comes home from work he can jump into immediate conversation and connection with my son.

Not having to ask “how was your day” and crickets. But asking him specifics about moments in his day. To which my son lights up and gives him every little detail.
