I understand the appeal of paying a fair price for a wonderful business and just holding it.

But there is just something so appealing about digging through cheap stocks and finding hidden assets, undervalued subsidiaries, mispriced cash-flows, and special situations.

It gives me the same feeling as unexpectedly finding £20 in my old coat pocket…

I’d recommend it purely for the mini-dopamine hits it provides during the week…
