Is there an SLT in the country which does not ask for predicted grades?

Predicted grades benefit no-one. Certainly not the teacher who loses time and fuels anxiety by agonising over what to enter. Certainly not the head of department, often appalled at what the grades reveal or hide, wasting time trying to justify them to SLT line managers. And certainly not to SLT - who are always disappointed when they compare the hope they had before exam results to the agony or disappointment of the final grades.
