“Last year we made it a habit to sit and watch some of your videos every night and my son then put your tips into practice by doing endless practice questions and revising the characters, themes and author backstories to give context.

He started properly revising after getting a 7 and 6 in mocks in Feb. He has a maths brain and your help was useful as you create a formula which removes a level of ambiguity and subjectivity.

He didn’t use the ‘this suggests’ method but went with everything else. He got a 9 in language and an 8 in lit and although he selected other A levels he has found a new appreciation for literature and reads a lot more in his leisure time.
