The Kinsey Report is normally accepted without question. I find that a lot of research is questionable. Did you really find X? Did Y and Z really cause X or was that actually a much weaker correlation than if you had looked at A and B, and perhaps the cause might have been D and E? But you will never know, because you never looked.
So this got me hooked. David doesn’t just trot out the standard view, and I found myself agreeing with every idea. It captures the way I think about improving teachers and leadership.
I’ve spent many years trying to find ways to make the environment less wicked, and to give quicker feedback. I don’t think it is actually that hard to find the measures - what is difficult is getting teachers and leaders to pay attention to them.
