Here’s how I go about printing it: first, I don’t have the Substack app, so I only read essays in my email or on my laptop’s web browser. Plenty of essays are short enough to read in the email, but if I see it’s too long to read in 3-4 minutes, I copy the text to a Word document, remove images, and shrink the font size. I’ll print two pages to one landscape page if the article is particularly long. I realize this is “extra,” and I don’t do it for every article.
