You take a factual claim and reframe it as an attack on tradition, on Christmas, on America itself, and you give your audience permission to feel rage against the people who excavated this knowledge. Then you watch the engagement roll in from people who never read the original research and never watched the full video. It’s all rigged. Point out racism in history and you become “the real racist.” Cite academic research and you’re pushing “liberal propaganda.”
