The heatwave continues in Cambridge.

Tony's Trough was installed by the council in 1934 to provide water for dogs.

It was requested and funded by Prince Chula of Thailand in memory of Tony, the pet dog he had when studying history at Trinity.

Tony remained in Cambridge when the prince returned home but when news reached him that Tony had died,he commissioned this granite memorial
