I don't care that much about what someone's beliefs are. Ultimately, beliefs can change. People can be wrong or mistaken. They may have the wrong information. Or they haven't thought everything through.

What tells me more is the behavior. Are you willing to hurt others for your cause? Do you discriminate against people? Do you get a "hit" of dopamine when you humiliate or harass others? Are you a bully? Are you unwilling to consider other perspectives? Do automatically vilify people who don't agree? Are you careless with your words and accusations? Are you willing to lie? Do you argue in bad faith?

You may have the most righteous cause or belief, but if you're a shitty person, it doesn't matter.
