I Don’t Leave People Waiting

If a connection matters to me, I stay in communication.

Online or offline, it doesn’t really matter.

If it’s real, you nurture it.

And this space has given me a lot.

People, words, my favorite song, humor, moments I didn’t expect to care about… but do.

So if you’re reading this, You mean something.

And because of that, I won’t disappear on you.

I’ll say where I’m at.

Through a note, a post, something.

Because I know what it feels like to be left waiting.

To not know.

To wonder if you’ve been forgotten.

It’s one of the worst feelings there is.

So I don’t do that to people.

Not because I’m perfect.

But because being present, being on time, being clear… it matters to me.

Maybe more than most.

I’ve never been late to anything in my life.

And the only thing that would stop me from showing up… is death.

So if I ever go quiet, it’s not casual.

It’s not careless.

Just know… if I could show up, I would.
